Ingredients
1 Tbsp Coconut Oil or Vegetable Oil
1 Tsp Split Chickpea
1 Tsp Mustard Seeds
1 Tsp Black Gram Dal
Half Onion Chopped finely
1 Tbsp Curry leaves
200-250 gms finely chopped Beans
1 Red Chili dry
1 Tsp Sambhar Poddi or Spicy Chutney Poddi (Sambhar powder or Chutney powder) - OPTIONAL
Method
Fry Seeds and dals till they are golden, and then add the onions, keep stirring to avoid them from becoming brown or black.
After 2-3 minutes of frying onions on low-medium flame, add one whole red chili and then the beans. Be mindful to not brown the onions.
When frying the beans, do not over cook or add water, just keep it on low flame and keep sautee-ing it for 3-4 mins. 5 Mins max.
Serve with Steamed rice, roti or parota
