The Drunken Pig food blog is definitely influenced by the preference we Coorgs have for coffee brews, spirits and meat dishes especially those made with Pork. However, our blog is a lot more than this. It's a lot about my family recipes, food my siblings and I grew up eating and our experiences with global cuisine.

I started the blog with simple home cooked dishes, with an example photograph of what my dinner plate looked like regularly. Over time, The Drunken Pig food blog has become experimental by delving into global and regional cuisines both vegetarian and non vegetarian, desserts and more. Even my travel and food experiences have helped evolve The Drunken Pig journey.

Dishes from all over the world have been well curated and improvised continuously with an understanding of their local ingredients.

Through The Drunken Pig website blog and our social pages on Facebook & Instagram, my aim is to build a community of food lovers and creative food bloggers across the world, share meaningful food content with one another and unique food techniques. Here is raising a glass to the foodies and home cooks!

I started my blog with half a spark of passion, 1 tablespoon of hunger, 2 tablespoons of curiosity, ten big cups of doubt, and 5 ounces of family love.​

The love that our family has for food, has definitely helped me nurture and develop the idea of the Drunken Pig over the years. My family helps me co-create world recipes and generously entertain family and friends with our delights.

I was born in the beautiful town of Virajpet in Coorg and grew up in New Delhi. I am a Human Resource Consultant by profession with an MBA from France and years of hustling in the global corporate world.

​

Presently, I am enjoying writing my Quarantine Cookbook series (to be released every quarter) and also penning articles on Human Resources, Organizational skills and Food of course.
